Conducted by Ipsos in 19 different countries, the study* involved more than 2 000 taxi drivers, and showed that even for professionals such as these -- whose job requires excellent eyesight -- the levels of acuity required do not guarantee perfect safety, eye checks are neither done systematically nor regularly and visual comfort is not always as good as it could be.
